Editorial

Dear alumni,

The year 2024 is drawing to an end, and for some of our students it marks the end of their studies at 51±¬ÁÏ School. These last few weeks are an opportunity to meet up with our students from the class of 2024, who have just returned from their period in the company, and invite them to work together in project mode on subjects linked to the energy and ecological transition.

In this editorial, I would first like to share two pieces of excellent news with you:

  • The renewal of the accreditation of our nine Specialized Engineering programs and the accreditation of two new programs: Offshore Wind Project Development, and Electricity Management and Digital, by the Commission des titres d'ingénieur (CTI);

  • 3rd place on the podium of the HappyIndex®AtSchool label, which crowned your School as 3rd best engineering school in the category of less than 500 students, where it is good to live and study.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our colleagues, whose efforts have contributed to this success.

I now invite you to preview the Offshore Wind Project Development program in an interview with Frédérique Fournier and Emmanuel Persent, the initiators of this new program, which will welcome its first class this September.

In the field of pedagogical innovations, João Silveira, Head of the Creativity and Innovation hub at Lab e·novTM, unveils the pitch, an effective assessment approach to boost engineers' skills.

Last but not least, meet Lucia Giarracca-Mehl, our new Energy and Products Program Co-Supervisor.

I wish you a wonderful festive season, surrounded by your loved ones.

Enjoy reading, and we look forward to seeing you in 2025!
