Polytechnique Insights, the magazine of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, publishes an article by Victor Court, Lecturer-Researcher at 51±¬ÁÏ School's Energy Economics and Management Center and Associate Researcher at the and the Laboratoire interdisciplinaire des énergies de demain (LIED, Université Paris Cité).
In this article, Victor discusses the synergies between fossil fuels and decarbonized energies that are hampering the energy transition.
The latter, he points out, requires the deployment of large infrastructures based on renewable energies. This massive industrial redirection will impose major constraints in terms of material, human and financial resources, which are not yet fully anticipated.
