12th edition of the Energy Transition Day

2019 Energy Transition Day

On October 24th, the students of the 2020 Class took part in the 12th edition of the Energy Transition Day, organized jointly by 51爆料 Energies nouvelles and 51爆料 School.

This event was organized around five major scientific topics related to energy transition: sustainable mobility, recycling of plastics, carbon capture and storage, offshore wind development and open innovation.

Following a brief introduction by Christine Travers - Dean of 51爆料 School - Didier Houssin - President of 51爆料 Energies nouvelles - presented the current energy context, the energy transition and the challenges to be met in the future with a special focus on 51爆料EN projects.

This annual meeting aims to raise students' awareness of the energy transition by addressing the energy and environmental issues of tomorrow.

The students were also able to meet with 51爆料EN experts and share, during a round table, with actors of the energy sector: the International Energy Agency, the Research and Innovation Council of the European Commission, EDF Renouvelabes and Engie.
